Plain-English summary: your calls, notes and memory belong to you. We don't sell your data, we collect only what we need to run your assistant, and you can delete everything at any time.
Chronos ("Chronos", "we", "us") provides a personal AI assistant available through Telegram and over the phone at trychronos.online. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. We act as the data controller for the information described here.
We've tried to write this in language a human can actually read. Where a section needs to be precise, it is — but the short version is always: we collect the minimum we need, and we never sell it.
We collect only what's necessary to give you a working assistant:
We use your data to operate the assistant, carry out the tasks you ask of it, maintain your memory and preferences, process payments, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We rely on your consent and on the performance of our contract with you as the legal bases for this processing.
We do not use the content of your conversations to serve you advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.
When Chronos answers or places a call, that call may be transcribed so the assistant can understand it, act on it, and give you a summary. Where required by law, callers are informed that an automated assistant is handling the call. You control how long transcripts and memory are retained, and you can delete them from your history at any time.
We share data only with the trusted service providers needed to run Chronos — for example, telephony, speech, AI model and hosting providers — and only to the extent they need it to perform their function. These providers are bound by contracts that restrict how they may use your data.
We never sell or rent your personal data. We may disclose information if legally required to, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete content or close your account, we permanently remove the associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain limited records (for example, for tax or fraud-prevention purposes).
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored on secured servers within the EU, and access is restricted to the few people and systems that genuinely need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your information seriously and review our practices regularly.
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can exercise most of these directly inside Chronos, or by emailing us. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. We don't use advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Chronos is not intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we make a material change, we'll let you know through the service or by email and update the "last updated" date above.
